Taking Innovation
to the Bank

Roger Sundin started with a unique idea in 1976, the same year that Hasbro ushered in Stretch Armstrong, the flexible gel-filled action figure.

Roger’s vision, however, was not a stretch: he recognized a unique opportunity to create a strong marketing driven advertising agency to serve community financial institutions.

He was right on the money – and Sundin Associates was born!

Roger’s vision and spirit of innovation is still ingrained in our DNA and why we’ve evolved to become what we are today – Sundin Marketing – a damn-good, full-service marketing agency that’s earned the business, trust, and long-term loyalty of our clients.

Sundin Marketing is a Woman Business Enterprise

Since 2012, Kristin has led Sundin Marketing as president with her business partner Ed O’Donnell.

Working in the family business was not the plan, but as they say… timing is everything.
When Roger’s daughter joined the Agency in 1996, the marketing landscape was very different than today. Her arrival, two years after the first financial institution in North America began providing customers with internet banking, coincided with the rapid introduction and expansion of both digital banking and online communication channels. Through her razor-sharp communication and technological skills (perhaps honed through years playing Zork on her Apple IIc), she has positioned the Agency as an industry leader in online and social media marketing.

In 2018, Sundin Marketing earned the designation of a Woman Business Enterprise by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Agency was recertified in 2021.

One thing we’d never call ourselves is “gurus” or “ninjas” – mostly because we believe there’s always opportunities to learn. Truthfully, we don’t really care what you call us (but we would love for you to call or email us.)

Our Office

Located in downtown Sherborn, a suburb of Boston, our office is a reflection of our Agency – comfortable, colorful, and creative.

Opened in 2021, our office was designed with the help of friends including Lisa Barton; Craig Certner, Steve Brandt, and Alltype Digital Graphics.
