St. Jean’s Credit Union’s website has received the 2021 WebAward for Best Credit Union website from the Web Marketing Association (WMA).
The site, developed by Sundin Marketing during the COVID-19 pandemic, features a new modern layout with an expanded brand color palette, improved navigation, and responsive format that allows visitors to view from any device. With an eye towards improved functionality and useability, the site includes Accessibility tools, as well as SilverCloud‘s Answer Platform. Driven by WordPress, an open-source Content Management System, the site is easier to update for all authorized members of the St. Jean’s and Sundin teams.
According to one judge:
“The, “What would you like to do,” panel is great. It narrows down the options for the visitor using simple, everyday language. The, “Ask,” search engine is great thinking. There’s a ton of information in there that addresses the most asked questions. The Accessibility tools are genius! The options are relevant and useful. More websites should follow your lead. Truly innovative thinking. Good site! It makes banking accessible for anyone — even the most financial layperson. Content and navigation are clear and easy to understand. ”
The WMA also awarded our client, The Village Bank, a Standard of Excellence Award which recognizes sites demonstrating a standard of excellence to which all website developers should aim.
This year marked the WMA’s 25th annual WebAward Competition for website development. According to the WMAN, “independent expert judges from around the world review sites in 96 industries. The best are recognized with a WebAward which helps interactive professionals promote themselves, their companies, and their best work to the outside world. The WebAward Competition is the premier award recognition program for Web developers and advertising agencies.”
