It all started with a pair of shorts.
Melissa Jacoby, captain of Team Perry, wanted help with cycling shorts for members of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) team she had led for two decades. Not only did the shorts need to be great quality – no one is happy with an uncomfortable pair of cycling shorts – but they had to coordinate with the team’s jerseys, which use a different color palette each year.
As the team was also marking a significant milestone, 20 years riding in support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, we proposed creating a custom kit that could be purchased by current and past team members. The result is a design filled with details that will resonate with team members, and which can be mixed and matched with past kits.
Plus, working with Garneau, we were able to ensure the shorts were great quality, while also offering additional options including a jacket, running jersey, tank top, and face-covering/buff.
