Campaign Overview

The Village Bank’s Small Business Saturday campaign was designed to drive traffic to downtown Newton to shop small and support local businesses.

Working with the City of Newton, the Bank provided free parking throughout the city on Small Business Saturday. Branded bags covered parking meters and kiosks to ensure visitors didn’t inadvertently pay for parking.

Leveraging a mix of traditional publicity as well as social and digital media channels, the Bank promoted both the event, as well as raised awareness of individual businesses.
