For residents of MetroWest Massachusetts, the MBTA’s Commuter Rail and Green Line service serves a vital function, connecting suburban communities to Boston’s downtown – a source of employment, education, and entertainment. For our client, The Village Bank, this highly-traveled commuter line cuts through the heart of, and makes stops within, their service area, making it a highly effective way to connect with neighbors.
Our goal was to reinforce The Village Bank’s position as a local option for mortgage financing, while subtly connecting with the area’s vibrant running community and home to “Heartbreak Hill,” a major milestone on the Boston Marathon course. The message and design also had to work in a variety of sizes to accommodate for the multiple options at each station.
