Originally created as part of a video spot promoting MutualOne Bank’s mobile banking services, “Mo,” a funny blue and green square without arms, hands or a face, became a surprise hit among employees, quickly became an integral part of the Bank’s branding.

Working with Commercial Costumes, a Maine-based company we had worked with in the past, our first challenge was how to translate the proportionally challenging character so it would fit a person. During this design phase Commercial Costumes also recommended the addition of arms and hands for safety reasons (allowing the actor inside to protect themselves should they trip and fall).
