Cathy Planchart joins Sundin Marketing

Kristin Sundin Brandt, president of Sundin Marketing in Sherborn, Massachusetts announced Cathy Planchart has joined the Agency as an account executive and marketing strategist. In her new role, she will be developing and serving clients in Maine and northern New England. 

Cathy brings over two decades of bank marketing experience to Sundin Marketing having held the position of director of marketing at Union Trust Company, now part of Camden National Bank, before enjoying a 14-year career at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust starting as community relations manager and ending as vice president, product and segment marketing manager. Her broad experience as part of in-house marketing teams also includes working in the insurance and investment fields. 

“We are excited to bring Cathy’s first-hand knowledge and perspective to the Sundin Marketing team and our community banking clients as she shares Sundin Marketing’s specialized offerings with a new market from her office on the coast of Maine,” said Brandt. 

A graduate of the American Bankers Association’s School of Bank Marketing and Management, Cathy holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Barry University. She is studying to become a certified digital marketing professional and professional certified marketer in digital marketing with dual certification from the Digital Marketing Institute and the American Marketing Association. 

An active volunteer invested in the Maine community, Cathy has used her marketing background and expertise to support local nonprofits including Island Readers & Writers, Literacy Volunteers of Bangor, Hattie A. & Fred C. Lynam Trust, Surry Arts at the Barn, Bar Harbor Chamber, Friends in Action Senior Center, Camp Beech Cliff, Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, The Grand, Child and Family Opportunities, WERU Community Radio, and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
