Our people are professional communicators, passionate about our clients.

We’re a team of scrappy techies, marketing nerds, data buffs, and design geeks who would never call ourselves “gurus” or “ninjas” – mostly because we believe there is always more to learn. (But we don’t mind if you call us that). Our team’s creative endeavors – both inside and outside of the shop – fuel our signature “figure-it-out” mentality that drives us – and results for our clients.

Kristin Sundin Brandt


Kristin likes to say she wears as many hats as Bartholomew Cubbins – as president of Sundin Associates, those hats include creative director, account manager, digital and online strategist, and content marketing and social media specialist.

A graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management, Kristin holds the Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers. Having once considered life on the stage or in front of a classroom, she now channels those past career aspirations writing on our blog as well as through teaching and speaking at conferences across the country and as an instructor at the New England School for Financial Studies.

While raising two young children with her husband, a small business owner and serial-do-it-yourselfer, she chronicled her adventures in parenting on Manic Mommies®, an award-winning podcast and blog focused on parenthood and work/life balance. When they retired in 2014, Kristin and her co-host Erin had recorded 405 episodes which were downloaded over four million times and attracted the attention of brands including Chevrolet, Intel and Brooks Running. Today, Kristin continues to share her personal journey through her often neglected blog.

An avid cyclist, some of Kristin’s other hats are actually helmets as she encourages women ridership and raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge.

Ed O'Donnell

Executive Vice President

Ed joined Sundin Associates in 2000, and is now executive vice president, account executive, and a partner in the company.

Ed’s major focus is on developing and executing business development and marketing strategy for a portfolio of agency clients. In addition, he manages the agency’s human resource and facilities functions.

His bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from Seton Hall University in New Jersey is complemented by his status as a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s School of Bank Marketing and Management and accreditation as a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) by the Institute of Certified Bankers.

Raising four energetic young boys, Ed and his wife spend a lot of time on athletic fields, coaching and cheering.

If any of our clients owned a professional sports team, Ed would be in his glory. If they owned a golf course, all the better! Until that happens, Ed’s competitive spirit is fueled by a determination to keep our clients in the winner’s circle.

Roger Sundin

Chief Operating Officer

Roger’s focus transitioned from management engineering to entrepreneurship relatively early in his career. Following his graduation from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and a field engineering position with Bethlehem Steel Corporation, he made a career move to become an account executive with the G. Burke Agency in Boston, where he managed financial service accounts.

Sundin Associates was born in 1976, when Roger realized that there was a need for a strong marketing-driven advertising agency to specifically serve community financial institutions. The new agency was extremely successful in meeting those needs, and has continued to welcome prominent local and regional banks and credit unions to its client list for nearly four decades.

All of our clients continue to benefit from Roger’s experience and expertise in areas such as strategic planning, product pricing, product development, and data base administration. He continues to be a valued senior staff resource in his role today as chief operating officer, overseeing the agency’s daily operations.

Kim Lawrence

Project Manager

Kim is always on the move, whether managing clients or getting her two school-age children to one of their many extracurricular activities.

Kim joined Sundin in 2007 from a prior position as marketing manager at Bridgewater Savings Bank. Having a client-side perspective was a definite plus as she took on agency responsibilities including coordinating day-to-day operational assignments and providing support for account executives and senior staff. She is also responsible for media placement and distribution and social media monitoring.

A bachelor’s degree graduate of Bridgewater State University, Kim also graduated from the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management.

Debbie Levens

Database Manager

When we advertised for “a left-brained person for a right-brained office,” our wish was granted! Debbie joined the Sundin team in 2000.

Debbie has since established an admirable track record in applying her analytical and quantitive skills to a variety of projects, from accounting to database analysis and MCIF (marketing customer information files) projects.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and an MBA from Simmons College, Debbie went on to positions including logistic strategic planning manager at Honeywell Information Systems and systems analyst at Wang Laboratories

As her children approached school age, she worked with local parents and educators to establish a Montessori school in her community, and was equally active in Scout leadership and coaching community soccer.

Her interests today include involvement in music ministry at her church, the piano and yoga. A former triathlete, she is now a U.S. Master’s swim team member and also teaches swimming to all ages. She also volunteers with Neighbor Brigade, an organization that mobilizes the community to help other residents during times of crisis.

Bill Orsini

Senior Art Director

Bill’s history with Sundin Associates dates back to the agency’s early days in Boston. He joined the company in 1977 with a degree from the New England School of Art and Design, which is now part of Suffolk University.

He was named senior art director in 1985 and was instrumental in helping to transition the company from its “creative shop” beginnings to a steadily evolving “in house” agency equipped to meet client needs economically, effectively and efficiently.

Bill maintains overall responsibility for graphic quality assurance, closely following projects from the idea stage to product execution and delivery. He is responsible for all of the creative work assigned to the agency’s design team.

Bill’s keen eye for design and natural talent is also evident in the photos and oil or acrylic paintings he fashions in his off-hours. Many of his paintings have been on exhibit, and several are in private collections.

Lisa Segarra

Art Director

Lisa’s extensive graphic arts background and work in the technology and communications industries brought her to Sundin in 1999. She now focuses on designing and developing informative, user-friendly and eye-catching websites for our clients, and also applies her design skills to collateral and advertising projects.

Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and art from Framingham State.

Her career path began with the development of training materials for a number of digital imaging, graphics, and color management applications for leading graphics corporations. She also delivered on-site classes in publishing and design programs.

Pottery, painting, mixed media, gardening and yoga are among Lisa’s favorite recharging activities. Her work has been featured in regional juried shows.

Joe Noyes

Art Director

Originally from New Hampshire, Joe joined the Sundin Associates team in 2015 having worked within a range of industries including medical, technology and food packaging.

A graduate of Gordon College with a degree in design, and a minor in psychology, Joe enjoys the creativity within design to develop a unique visual brand for companies through traditional and/or digital channels. Beyond working with clients, he also regularly contributes design services to local non-profits including his church.

In his free time, Joe enjoys and spending time and traveling with his wife, exploring and learning about new areas both local and around the world. Joe also enjoys playing guitar, as well as engaging creatively through outlets such as board games and strategic puzzles.
